Claude adds physics to a 3D truck and makes it drivable
1:31 · 2026-10-16
Claude, connected to R3, takes a monster truck imported from Blender and makes it drivable: a rigid body, a collider, a vehicle with four wheels on the model's own tyres, tuned suspension, grip and centre of mass, and a short script to drive it with the keyboard. Every change appears live in the R3 editor. Then you lift the truck in edit mode, press Run and drive it up the hill. Narration: AI voice.

0:00 This is Claude, connected to R3. Ask it for a new project, and it creates one and opens it in your editor.
0:09 Then the monster truck you uploaded from Blender. Claude finds it and adds it to the scene, every part in place.
0:18 For ground, a hill: a terrain shaped from a heightmap image, with the truck placed on the slope.
0:28 Now the real work: physics. Claude groups the parts under the body, and gives it a rigid body and a collider. Then a vehicle, with four wheels on the model's own tyres. It tunes the suspension, the grip and the centre of mass, and writes a short script to drive it with the keyboard.
0:55 Next, a follow camera, written in code: smooth, a little behind and above the truck.
1:06 You stay in control. In edit mode, select the truck and lift it, just a little.
1:13 Press Run.
1:14 And drive it up the hill.
1:20 Physics, wheels and a drive script, hooked up by Claude, live in the editor.
