Keyboard focus you can see, everywhere in the editor

Shipped Oct 2026

Buttons, text fields, drop-downs and menu items in the editor show a clear ring when you reach them with the keyboard, in the light and the dark theme, so you always know where you are without a mouse.

Text fields used to show focus only as a faint change of border colour; now each one gets a ring with enough contrast to see. The ring appears at once instead of fading in, small toolbar chips get a ring that fits the chip, and the controls in the header use a ring that stands out against the header.

Also: error text in the light theme is easier to read, and in the colour editor the A channel is named Opacity, on hover and for screen readers.
